A note from Harmonie O'Loughlin | Editor & Creator
Botanical Anthology is a tale of marriages.
My love for magazines and my infatuation with herbs. My desire to create a platform for independent creators and my hope to inspire through accessible herbalism. My curiosity of all facets of a plant’s uses from kitchen witching and remedy making to gardening and foraging to crafting and observing the seasons.
A plant lover’s dream, Botanical Anthology is a seasonal, plant centered quarterly digital + print magazine, featuring over 40 independent creators, with few ads and the word count of a small novel. We find the midpoint between inspirational and accessible wisdom to spark the imagination and build plant proficiency of the budding herbalist, natural health enthusiast, (urban) homesteader, and nature lover.
Each edition comes to you at the beginning of a new season with the launch offering a discounted price and a free All About booklet highlighting a featured plant. Join our newsletter to hear it first!
Over 140 plant lovers have put their knowledge and creativity into our almanacs over the years. This is a sneak peek at what you will find each season to guide you in the days ahead. When we ground into the seasons and the plants associated with them, we connect to the present while nourishing our whole beings.
Thank you for supporting us. And this vision.
