In the afternoon, we return to Parker Ranch to talk about the medicinal uses of the herbs we’ve seen and process plants harvested. Our schedule includes free time each day allows you to explore Rabun County.

In this class, she teaches us about one of the desert plants she has a major passion for, the Joshua tree (which you’ll learn isn’t technically a tree). She covers the ecology, associated fauna and pollinators, some botany, but perhaps most importantly, the importance of protecting it.
